Steve Mertens and Birgit Baukens, a non-stereotypical gay and aspiring career woman, share a house with Tom Derijcke, Birgit's ex-boyfriend, Zoë Zonderland, a reveler, and Akke Impens, a computer nerd.

Steve Mertens and Birgit Baukens, a non-stereotypical gay guy and a wannabe career woman, decide to share a house. To cover the rent, they take in three others: Birgit's ex-boyfriend Tom Derijcke, party animal Zoë Zonderland and wicked computer nerd Akke Impens. Complemented by their landlord's hyperactive daughter Jasmijn De Ridder, they soon form a crazy but close group of friends. Later on the series, they are joined by Carlo Stadeus, Akke's best friend, who is physically obsessed by Birgit. Finally, after a switch in house owners, the pedantic teenager Kim De Hert is the last one to force herself into the gang. As the series strolls towards it's conclusion, each of these characters seems to be facing a future they did not expect.
