Jewish Xmas

Several actors are members of a amateur soccer team. They followed in their preparations for a particular audition and in their personal life. With about 6 actors this delivers a broad picture of Italian life in which the question what it means to be a man is posed in the challenging circumstances of familily life, sex relationships, sport, cross gender roles and mafia.

Martha and Rubén get into trouble when she finds out she's pregnant without them being married. At first they try to hide it from their families, but they'll need to let them know eventually because it will start to show, but they're afraid to because of what people will think of them. They start to prepare for a quick wedding as soon as possible to keep people from gossiping.

Consists of five stories: "Dios los cría...", dealing with brothers' rivalry for an inheritance; "Negocio redondo", about a lawyer selling a property to the Catholic church with guilty feelings; "Entre 12 y 1", where a couple and a close friend get trapped in an elevator; "La gran noche", a night in the life of an old prostitute; and "La otra", where a man alternates between two women.

A battle between two brothers tears their family apart.

At their annual 1/2 New Year Party, relationships are tested among a group of friends.
