The story of a friendship between a tough, young Rock N Roll performer trying to make it on the Sunset Strip, and an old, wise, retired Jewish lawyer. A sometimes funny, sometimes touching story that leaves you wanting more.

A young man takes a trip to Europe, and when he returns home he brings along the woman he fell in love with and became engaged to. However, his snooty mother finds out that she doesn't come from a "good" family and is, in fact, a clerk in a shoe store, and refuses to sanction the engagement. The young man's uncle disagrees and tries to convince the mother to accept the young girl--but then begins to realize he is developing feelings for her himself.

Young playboy Robert Pitt makes a bet with friends at a restaurant that he will obtain within 24 hours a photograph of a girl across the room, whom he has never met, autographed fondly to him. His unsuccessful attempts to steal the photograph from her and win the bet make up the rest of the plot. Finally, he succeeds in getting the photograph and winning the girl, but he gets involved in an attempted jewel theft, which he prevents but for which he is blamed.

A former soccer player is morally and mentally destroied by the death of his wife. But when he gets the chance to train a team he regains his life by making victories and also finding another love.

The suicidal princess decides to throw herself into the Nile river after she's tired of returning to her divorcee, because she can't resist his temptation, but a taxi driver named Abbas rescues her, so she asks him to work for her so that he could prevent her from returning to her divorced guy.
