Satirical comedy examing the war on Terror.

After a few too many tours of duty and missions overseas, a mother/wife returns home to deal with her family and changed surroundings. This mission may serve to be her toughest ever.

After WW2, a group of partisans comes to a bourgeois family in order to teach them singing and declamation of new songs. The family soon forgets their old customs and principles.

Based on a true story from November 1943 : the Resistance manages to publish a fake edition of the pro-German newspaper 'Le Soir', put on sale by surprise in the newsstands and stuffed full of parodic articles pouring ridicule upon occupying forces. The film faithfully traced the course of this humorous and enterprising attempt to wake up the populace, filling out the basic plot with irreverent patriotic gags.

A homesick American soldier stationed in England during WWII, makes an unauthorized (a.w.o.l) trip on an American Air Force plane to the United States to see his wife, and then hops the plane back to England, with only his wife knowing he was home for a few hours. Later, she learns that she is pregnant and to disclose that her husband had paid her a visit, would get him into trouble, which she doesn't, the townspeople are unanimous in their condemnation of her. But, after her husband is discharged, he enlists the aid of a nightclub singer, the only other person who knew he came home, and the gossips are left to find something else to prattle on about.
