A small Japanese town is in fact the home of Shingu, a legendary protector of the Earth, controlled by the student council who go through life's trials and tribulations.

Priest Genjo Sanzo and companions Cho Hakkai, Sha Gojyo, and Son Goku maintain their westward journey to stop the resurrection of the demon Gyoumao.
