A Good Beginning Makes a Good Ending
A giant stone statue runs rampant across the city, but Kotetsu and Barnaby are at a disadvantage due to their reluctance to work together. The NEXT behind the statue attack, a young boy with telekinesis, targets an ice rink, where Kotetsu's daughter, Kaede, is performing. Barnaby rescues Kaede whilst Kotetsu, recalling how a NEXT called Legend inspired him to become a hero, manages to convince the boy to use his powers for good when the ice rink starts to collapse with people still inside it.

Morisato Keiichi has a happy daily life, albeit unusual, which is rather unsurprising when you consider his household is home for four goddesses - the sisters Belldandy, Urd and Skuld, and their friendly rival Peorth. Belldandy, Urd and Peorth are having tea together so that their angels can have fun, while Skuld is sulking about her angel not coming out and Keiichi is trying to cheer her up. When Urd teases Skuld about her angel, the latter throws a fit, calming down when they share some of their wisdom with her. So far, a day perfectly like every other. However, while they were having fun, an emergency occurred in Heaven, and a Valkyrie, a goddess belonging to the powerful fighting squad, interrupted their party by descending to their home. That goddess is Lind, known as the Fighting Wing or as the One-Winged Angel, said to be the most elite fighter even among the Valkyries. Lind's descent is a sign that the goddesses are in grave peril, and that Keiichi's daily life is about to be turned upside down yet again.

The story is centred around Negi Springfield, a ten-year-old wizard from Wales, who dreams of becoming a Magister Magi like his missing father, a special wizard who uses his powers to help normal people, using covers such as working for NGOs. Initially appointed as an English teacher at Mahora Academy in Japan he becomes a teacher to a middle school class of 31 older girls. However, the peaceful school life is quickly disturbed as people from his father's past appear and Negi has to form contracts with various students to overcome the new dangers. Finally he embarks on a journey to the Magic World together with his partners to find his long-lost father. This film is the climax to their adventures depicted in the Shiroki Tsubasa Ala Alba and Mou Hitotsu no Sekai OVAs.
