Located in the northern part of the Luzon Island, Philippines, the town of Sagada grasps onto its unique culture that has separated it from the rest of its country for centuries. Having been influenced by the Anglican Church instead of the Catholic Church has allowed the people of Sagada to hold onto their traditional customs while blending them with Christianity. Come discover how this small town balances staying true to itself while adjusting to changes ushered in by tourism, youth, and a hashish trade.

In May of 2001 my mother, Denise Kasell, was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. Instead of going the traditional route - mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation- she chose a unique treatment in Germany that incorporated alternative treatments along with conventional medical protocols. Now, more than a decade later, her survival proves that forging your own path to treatment isn't a suicide mission, but a feasible option for a vibrant healthy life.

The documentary showcases the unique cross cultural conversation between Haitians and African Americans.

Biopic about famed Canadian pot activist Marc Emery, who is currently serving 5 years in a US penitentiary for selling marijuana seeds to Americans over the Internet. Unlike virtually all materials on Emery, which see him as a martyr and champion of Canadian sovereignty, CITIZEN MARC looks at Emery as a deluded narcissist who has engaged in 'Tea Party' style pro-capitalist, anti-government fights of often silly proportions. The film questions whether Emery, in his headlong quest for fame and jail and his fight against government, generated some kind of meaningful and progressive political energy in the process.

A panel of literary scholars and professors that made a tribute to Welsh writer/critic Raymond Williams (1921-1988), a few days after his passing. The works of Williams, along with his activism on behalf of socialism in UK, are briefly debated.
