She bungles the murder of Valdez and instead runs into an old beggar, who turns out to be Anino. Anino offers to teach Celina everything he knows and the two of them team up to destroy Valdez and his evil empire.

Jodelle Keyes is the daughter of a prominent politician who is in possession of one of the few copies of the book foretelling the arrival of the Avenger of blood. When she runs into trouble she's rescued by a quiet man named Joe Mizaki who she soon realizes fits the prophecies. When he hesitates due to the gravity of the undertaking, more innocent blood is shed and his road to becoming the Avenger becomes that much more difficult. The reluctant hero crosses paths with the weary detective and the guilt-ridden defense attorney on their road to Redemption.
