A prominent defense attorney bearing the guilt of a murder committed by a client she had successfully defended in court. A stand up police detective who realizes the corruption in her city has overrun the department she's serving with. And an ancient book that prophesies the return of a vigilante who executes murderers. Numbers 35:19 - "The Avenger of Blood himself shall slay the murderer; when he meets him, he shall slay him." Jodelle Keyes is the daughter of a prominent politician who is in possession of one of the few copies of the book foretelling the arrival of the Avenger of blood. When she runs into trouble she's rescued by a quiet man named Joe Mizaki who she soon realizes fits the prophecies. When he hesitates due to the gravity of the undertaking, more innocent blood is shed and his road to becoming the Avenger becomes that much more difficult. The reluctant hero crosses paths with the weary detective and the guilt-ridden defense attorney on their road to Redemption.

Anino (The Shadow) is the hero of the poor sugar-cane workers who are abused by their evil boss Victor Valdez. But Anino's legendary reign comes to an end when Valdez kills his wife, steals his baby son and leaves Anino for dead. 18 years later, a young girl (Celina) returns to the mansion of Valdez seeking vengeance for the death of her Father. She bungles the murder of Valdez and instead runs into an old beggar, who turns out to be Anino. Anino offers to teach Celina everything he knows and the two of them team up to destroy Valdez and his evil empire.

Evil mastermind Karla plans a robbery with her powerful army of zombie robots but a superhero group known as Los Jaguares will do anything to stop her.
