Summary Wei Zhuang and Tang Qi find four men of the Qi Jue Clan killed by a single assassin, leaving one survivor who was in hiding. Tang Qi decides to lays a trap with Wei Zhuang as bait to catch the swordsman. That night, the surviving Qi Jue Clan member overhears the assassins talking with the woman Li Wu, but he is easily detected and killed. Meanwhile as Wei Zhuang walks the dark lane-ways, he is ambushed by four swordsmen, but he quickly dispatches them. Later he encounters another swordsmen at a place referred to as the Heavenly Hinge, the only place in Xinzheng that is both offensive and defensive. They are evenly matched and they fight to a standstill, the swordsman revealed as Wei Zhuang's Senior Brother.
