XXI Großer Preis von Deutschland 1959

Summary The sixth race of the season was in Germany and had a total of 15 racers, ( originally, Porsche was in it but after the incident of John Behra, they withdrew ). Unlike the other races, this one was done in two short heat rounds. First one saw Tony Brooks and Stirling Moss battling for the early lead. Best one to open was Brooks and Moss being the one to have been passed by many. Most of the heat showed people trying to fight for a position, however, half distance, Brabham fell out from the lead group, and literally ground to a halt with transmission trouble. This led to a very entertaining and amazing fight that would be won by Brooks. Second one shows McLaren doing a good start but immediately ending into a bad spot and then... well, a few messes. The race was then won by Tony Brooks with a time of: 1:06:14.0.
