S1.E3 ∙ The French and Indian War

The true story of one boy's journey as a victim of Nazi oppression. While exposed to some of the most horrific events of the Holocaust, Misa was able to endure the atrocities of genocide through his love of art and music.

It's all live-action, in full-color, shot and created digitally, detailing the creation and drill of the Revolutionary War American soldier from the defeats as a militia rabble in 1776 to success after Valley Forge in 1779-1781. It details all of the movements in Baron Von Steuben's "Blue Book" drill manual, as well as detailing the various uniforms, equipment, weapons, camps, marching, soldier life in camp, food and battles of the Continental Soldier. This is a first-of-its kind documentary, using actors and reenactors in authentic uniforms and settings to tell the story of the men of this army. This is the first in a planned 35 DVD "American Soldier Series" detailing the lives times and world of the American fighting men (and women) through history.

Built during the ugliest decade in Indiana history, built while the Ku Klux Klan literally ran the state and Hoosiers' everyday racist roots pushed deeper still, Indianapolis' all-black Crispus Attucks High School was designed to isolate, to denigrate, ultimately to fail. Instead it produced generals and scholars, surgeons and scientists, world-class musicians and athletes. Most important, over time these successes, and the grace that accompanied them, because a grass-roots agent for integration, winning over the younger generation of Indy's whites, changing the way many thought about race. Changing the face, quite literally, of a society. 'Attucks: The School that Opened a City' isn't an easy story. It's at times an outrageous story, at times a beautiful and uplifting one. It's finally a nationally important story, a microcosm of the injustices faced and overcome by African-Americans in the 20th century, and a national model -- even today, perhaps especially today -- of what can be done under the most difficult circumstances. The final film is called "Karpaty, Karpaty". About the liberation raid of partisan formations of Sidor Kovpak in the summer of 1943 in the Carpathians. Thanks to the military skill of Kovpak and the courage of the partisans, the fascists' attempts to encircle and destroy the military formations of the partisans fail.

Efraim Zuroff, is a man passionate about his life purpose... that of bringing aging Nazi war criminals to justice. He travels to Lithuania ,a country with the highest percentage of Jews killed in Europe during World War II and tries to find answers about why a convicted Nazi collaborator was allowed to go free.
