Fräulein Rose

Summary A party is being held in the bright outside gardens of the home. We see a partially hidden man and his daughter greeting the guests before returning inside to a room of dolls. One doll is placed inside a coffin-like box by the daughter.

Nori Sakurada is asked by her friends to join them but because of her brother's difficulties she declines and returns home. There she is greeted by a number of delivery men with parcels for Jun, her brother. He has been ordering items online while isolated in his room and returns them for refunds as a hobby. One of the papers says that he has won a prize and instructs him to circle agree and place the paper in the 2nd drawer of the desk. It also mentions the supplier Holie as a (Eng, sub. info.) spirit liaison. Nori attempts to encourage her brother to leave his room but at the mention of school he becomes hostile.

The coffin-like box has appeared in Jun's room and when opened he finds a strange girl-like doll. After looking the doll over he tries the key which suddenly brings it to life (and slaps him for 'feeling her up'). She introduces herself as Shinku, the 5th Rozen Maiden and reminds him about the contract he signed and put in the drawer. One of his internet 'cursed' dolls catches her attention but is interrupted by the appearance of black feathers and an evil clown.

Shinku, tells Jun that the only way he will be protected is if he swears allegiance by kissing her rose ring. After following through, he receives a ring rose and becomes her medium. She and two other dolls stop the clown.

After the fight Jun takes over the role of her 'servant' by getting her tea. However, sees his school uniform and is questioned by Nori about his hesitation to return. We also find out that his parents are away working overseas. Shinku suddenly shows up at the table and Jun attempts to hide her from Nori.

After tea is brought Shinku attempts to help Jun realize his sisters kind feelings and caring but he is slow to acknowledge these. Nori meets Shinku but as usual says something that upsets Jun and is sent out of the room.
