Summary It is PINGU's birthday and he discovers a large present on the table. He wants to open it but he is told he has to wait. He is very impatient and he tries in all sorts of ways to secretly find out what his present might be. In doing so he knocks the heavy parcel falls from the table and when he is finally allowed to open the parcel he finds the cake inside it is somewhat squashed. In the end however the cake tastes just as good so everyone is happy again.
