Summary Sumika is too tall, very athletic, and not "cute" at all. Her family runs a martial arts dojo, and she's definitely got the skills and talent for it which is why everyone is shocked when she suddenly quits. She is in love with her best friend Ushio, who while also liking girls only likes "cute" girls. Sumika gives up martial arts in an attempt to make herself more cute but even that is not enough. Ushio has fallen for an older student. Sumika brushes it off revealing that any time Ushio sees a cute girl she falls madly in love with her despite how little she knows about her. When Ushio reveals her feelings to the girl she likes, she is harshly rejected leaving Sumika to comfort her best friend.
