Summary Ambitious detective Moon Jang-Yeol is exiled to the small town of Mujin in Chungcheon-do. Hoping to rack up points with his superiors and be restored to his former position in Seoul in a month, he's alternately frustrated and despairing about small town life - and the lack of small town crime. Hometown girl Bong Ye-Boon is working to build her practice as a veterinarian, get out of debt, and finally gain the approval of her grandfather, but an otherworldly event at a house call may change her relationship with her patients - and her entire life. Unnerved by her new abilities, Ye-Boon consults a shaman who claims to host the spirit of General MacArthur. From behind his aviator sunglasses, he tells her that her destiny is to become a shaman herself, and that the people closest to her could be hurt or die if she doesn't. When that dire prediction seems to be coming true, Ye-Boon tries to understand her strange powers, only to be arrested by Jang-Yeol for groping a passenger on a bus. Her new abilities help her make a life-changing difference for a client and a patient, but shake up her own life when she runs into Jang-Yeol yet again.
