Summary STORY 1. A high-powered career woman, Joyce Sowa, marries a dashing realtor, Bryant Parker on April 12, 2003. Soon thereafter, Bryant is drinking alcohol to excess, ignoring his work, becoming abusive to Joyce, and living off of her money. Joyce begins divorce proceedings in November 2011. However, Bryant does not want to lose his "meal ticket," and attempts to kill Joyce by stabbing her near her heart and also in her back, hoping to inherit her real estate and money. However, Joyce survives her serious stab wounds. In October 2013, Bryant is convicted and sentenced to "20 years in prison, less 4 years forgiven" for a total of 16 years. STORY 2. Nathan Richardson marries Shannon Rogers on October 8, 2011. Soon after the wedding, Shannon's personality changes. She is now abusive toward the low-key, calm Nathan. Later, Nathan discovers that Shannon has cooked up a sinister plot and tries to frame Nathan of very serious federal crimes. The FBI arrests Nathan on May 31, 2013. The FBI finally unravels the story and arrests the real culprit, Shannon. She is convicted and sentenced to 18 years in prison.
