Summary After escaping from the plummeting battleship Norg on lifeboats, Homeron and the crew head toward Sabaru, where they are attacked by a horrific monster named Ulback. Only Homeron and the captain manage to escape the monster's clutches, and the two of them find their way to the creature's lair to rescue the crew. Worried about Homeron's safety, Shu, Jiro, and Marumaro set out to look for him. Things aren't looking good for the captain or Homeron, when Shu appears and defeats Ulback with Blue Dragon. Everyone's relief is short-lived, though, when Homeron is destroyed by Delphinium. As Shu mourns Homeron's death, the captain, moved by the selflessness Homeron displayed in battle, passes on the information that Homeron gave his life to collect.
