S1.E8 ∙ Friends and Neighbors

In a Latin American country, an Intelligence Officer and a Sociologist analyze the psychological operations required to remove a recently elected babysitter from the Presidency of the Republic.

Engineer Sodoma (Vladimír Hrubý) and his colleague Vera (Jana Stepánková) are busy making the last tests of their invention - a miniature radio-telephone which is built into a powder-compact on one end and into a cigarette case on the other. A gang of criminals want to steal the invention and to sell it abroad. Their intentions are marred by a group of children who play on detectives at the local country fair.

Rustum hastens the death of his wealthy wife Tafidah so that he can inherit her. The couple, Magdi and Muna, kidnap Tafidah, threatening to kill her if Rustum does not hand over a large amount of money. Rustum refuses and finds it an opportunity to get rid of her. The couple admits to Tafidah that they need the money to form a show band, so she promises to give them the required amount.
