Summary Utah, 2012: Annie Kasprzak, a former foster child, now has a second chance at a happy life after being adopted by her case worker. Then, one night in March, the 15-year-old vanishes, leaving behind a note revealing a secret she has been hiding. Less than 24 hours later, her body is found in the nearby Jordan river.
