Suguru is a student looking for a maid. Mahoro is a de-commissioned combat android looking for a job. They meet on a bus when a pair of crooks fleeing from the law take the passengers hostage.
Suguru's classmates are suspicious of the new maid who makes such superb meals and cleans his clothes. A teacher sees Mahoro drop onto the school roof from a drone.
It is a hot day and Suguru picks up his report card from school and returns home. Miss Shikijo arrives, but the water heater is broken so they all go to the public baths.
