Series Premiere. PaRappa is in trouble when he has two promises he wanted to keep. He wanted to go with Sunny and Katy to Sister Gon's garage sale, while at the same time, he wanted to play basketball with P.J. and his new friend Matt. A new girl named Paula comes by and stirs up some trouble with Katy. While all of this madness is happening, a bunny named Gaster is causing even more chaos.

Katy is annoyed with the elderly Miss Dorothy, until she finds out that she was a dancer at her young age, and dreams of dancing again. Katy decides to help out, and gets PaRappa and the others to repair the broken-down theater and prepare a show so Dorothy can dance one last time.

PaRappa's dad creates Boxy Boy and gives it to PaRappa and tells him to use it when he's in trouble. At school, the kids' teacher is very nervous and can't even start a class lesson. Matt soon learns that the teacher is nervous because he's getting married tomorrow. PaRappa brings out Boxy Boy and tells them to cure the teacher's fright with a steel bucket. It actually works, but with a side effect. He's acting like a strict teacher, and soon becomes crazy and hunts down PaRappa and his friends.

Paula arrives at the Club Fun one night and starts falling in love with the DJ. She's in for a shock when PaRappa and the gang tell her that the DJ is P.J. They put the two to the test and see if they would work out as a couple.

While on a picnic, PaRappa and the gang find a magical pendant and travels through time. They eventually find a goblin and helps him impress a girl that looks awfully like Sunny.

Parappa and friends visit a sushi shop, unknowing that is really a cover-up by Gaster and Groover to steal the next door bank's money. Through some unfortunate consequences, the money ends up getting blown up. Now Parappa and company have to do all they can to keep all the bank's customers calm whilst a new shipment on money comes in.

Chief Puddle wants to win over the girl of his dreams, but her father forbids them from being together, making the girl run away, but gets trapped in a park wildfire. PaRappa and his friends help Chief Puddle rescue the girl by putting out the fire.

Parappa, PJ, and Matt are secretly building a rocket ship and plan on going to outer space until Sunny finds out and tells Katy, Paula, and a hippo teacher who is determined to stop them from launching the rocket.

The annual Parappa Town dance is coming up, and Parappa is determined to ask if Sunny will go to the Dance with him, but his attempts to ask her out don't go as planned. To make things worse, at the Dance, Gaster and Gruber secretly rob everyone blind, and fail.

PaRappa meets his favorite baseball player, and hopes to get an autograph from him. However, to get his autograph, PaRappa, with the help of P.J and Matt, will have to rescue him from Gaster and Gruber.

Matt, PJ & Parappa goes on a trip to do "good deeds", but gets lost in the forest due to Gaster's meddling.

While out late one night, Sunny gets kidnapped by a couple of ghosts and gets taken to a haunted mansion. PaRappa and the gang must overcome their fears and save her.

Parappa and friends scramble to clean up the Fruites Dojo when Chop Chop Master Onion returns to town after a long training journey. However, when he gets back, the dojo falls down, so Chop Chop forces his students to clean up the dojo and to do an impromptu karate lesson, which showed that he was around the world to learn specific techniques. After much pestering from Paula, Chop Chop shows her to do "the Kilimangyro Chop". As she runs home, her friends follow her and find out that she learned it so she could slice oranges to make marmalade.

School elections are opened, and Matt and Paula are on the ballot. P.J. gives them ideas on how to make their campaigns better, until it's been revealed that he was in the ballot the entire time and has won.

In hopes of getting advantages in their schemes, Gaster and Gruber kidnaps Boxy Boy. But now, they're on the run as PaRappa gets every citizen in Parappa Town to help him get Boxy Boy back.
