The little prince writes home to his beloved rose on the tiny asteroid about his visit to the planet of time. Despite his companion the fox's instinctive warning, the prince follows magical clues. They enter a village where everything is frozen in a point in time. The prince successfully risks winding up the tower clock, which was blocked by the evil serpent's black thoughts, thus liberating local leader Caractactus and his people. He explains every village on the planet is in another timezone and guides the duo on an adventurous journey to the great clockmaker, who has been missing for months.

The little prince tries to fix things by turning back the clock handles and thus time even further and creating a fabulous monster to fight the clock-wrecking one. Both sort of backfire. The serpent justifies its actions as the clockmaker chose to give in to temptation to rid himself of a crushing planetary burden by rewinding time until he's a child again, and even claims it found a better friend for the neglected fox in Caratacus. The prince however show crucially superior insight in psychology.

The little prince writes to the rose about his next planet visit while chasing the serpent. There people mine emeralds on the surface, which is constantly threatened by lava, and live in a sky-built city. Thanks to the fox, he finds out everybody lives in terror of the beautiful fire-bird, and why: their palace-recluse king stile the crown instead of waiting for the fire-bird to crown either him or his sister.

The little prince and the fox find a way to return the crown to the fire-bird to crown and doge attacks from the black thoughts, but now the serpent tempts the princess to seize it. The fire-bird now attacks even more vigorously, but this time everyone pulls together, which proves key to the solution.

The vital instrument factory depends on the only diva, Euphonia, but her song keeps breaking off. The prince and fox offer to attempt singing if she teaches them, but discover her heart broke because of a forbidden love with Ivory, a prince of the rival people of flower lovers. When the grim factory boss finds out, he calls for a revival of the war that ruined their former common city.

The little prince and the fox chase stars, which disappear from the sky to a single planet. Its inhabitants are only concerned with the mysterious disturbance of soil fertility. However the duo checks on the loner in an amazingly high tree (actually a camouflaged observatory), the astronomer, and discover he steals stars.

The little prince and the fox fail to stop the astronomer stealing stars. They also find out about his alien origin from his adoptive local parents. This information proves crucial in approaching the problem from another angle, reasoning with him and offering a galactic way out.

The little prince and the fox's next planet is inhabited by the Lythians, a mineral people of recent immigrants whose partially ruined stone city is under constant siege by expanding thorn-bushes. Prince Nickel shows how hopeless their rampart defense is and his alternative, a flying stone arch. His mother, dumb matriarch Jade, however obstinately insists to wait for the return of his doted brother, city-founding architect Mica, whom the serpent inspires to seek the legendary rock seed. When the people insist it's tome to use the arch, the serpent convinces Jade to sabotage it.

The little prince, the fox and prince Nickel evade the evil thoughts long enough to convince the Lythians to wait until the find prince Mica, whom they bring the give up his search, return and join the evacuation. The thorny bushes still cause trouble, but the prince thinks of an alternative for them.

The little prince and the fox's land on a strange planet where the dark countryside is inhabited by a species of floating eyes. Uneasy, they seek refuge in an town, but everyone shuts them out at nightfall, except a mother and her son, who make friend with fox. This family alone refuses to buy lanterns to scare off the globus, who according to legend can petrify, but never did. That night however, fox and the boy seem petrified in bed, yet the prince, who sleep on the roof terrace, saw no globus.

The little prince soon discovers that fox and his new boyfriend weren't really petrified but kidnapped and replaced by clay copies. The light bulb salesman did it, but his motives aren't really criminal, rather a darkness phobia and the Globus legend. Meanwhile the Globus attack the town, but only because the excessive light bothers them in a surprising way, which probes the key to a solution.

The Little Prince and his fox visit the planet of the Amicopes, who seem condemned to utter silence by flying machines which eject mouths-bandages. The only citizen who dares take them in explains it's the doing of her former lover Sahara, who runs the 'central' from where the machines used to distribute recorded voice messages, then presents them to the resistance. Hvaing discovered the serpent is behind it all, they have a hard time pleading a pacific settlement.

The Little Prince and his fox visit the planet of the Cubicans, which is cube-shaped and constantly rotates since geometrician Gehom devised a machine placed in the center. Its people is constantly condemned to the 'great march', pushing their only buildings on huge cards over the present top side before it turns near-vertical. Having discovered the serpent is present, but also an outlawed outcast movement, they find their clever help all too badly received, then find out the truth.

The prince and his fox arrive on a most creative planet, where people constantly design inventions, the bulk of which are so far-fetched that they very soon get tossed into their ocean, which is getting terribly polluted. The Great Inventor, whom everyone trusts to come up with a really useful invention to solve their problems, is missing. The giant worm-shaped contraption he designed to devour the floating mess is out of control, causing tidal havoc. As the prince feared, the black snake has worked on the Great Inventor's vanity.

This time the rose gets a letter from a planet dweller before the prince's, each telling one version of his visit. Prince and Fox are surprised to be expected at their next planet, belonging to the Okidans. It lives in constant fear of annihilation by the often closely-approaching comet Siffreo, which can only be prevented by a magical beam launched by the Okodo, a hereditary sort of priest-king. His wife and daughters say he's missing, presumably gone to mount Kodo. As the serpent appears and the Prince displays his magic abilities to fight it, the queen insists he should cede her some powers, which he declines as impossible. Later, the prince finds out the truth.

The Little Prince and his fox visit the planet of the Libris people, who are miserable since the books they love so much keep getting stolen all over he place. Prime suspect is the librarian, whose building keeps sinking into the ground just as mysteriously. The heroes find out he's illiterate, hence probably innocent, and just enamored in a lady who constantly rejects the newspaper editor, who keeps showering her with gifts. Indeed, she serpent is poisoning his mind with jealousy, while the librarian's frustrated assistant Joseph is in cahoots with them.
