Danpei Tange is a frustrated fighter with poorly life. Passing by a town one day he meets Joe Yabuki, a brawler, liar and deceived person which he saw in his fights the potential to be a true boxer champ.
Tange finally starts teaching and starts working at a construction place but,it seems like Joe has other plans,he goes to a rich woman's house with the kids named Yoko Shikari and tries to gain money of the kids.
Joe is accused of fraud after its revealed he made up the story about the orphanage. A police manhunt is issued to bring Joe to Jail, and there's only one man who can control the delinquent Joe; his trainer.
