Alys and Bronagh talk to the family of Damien Nettles and a key eyewitness to establish the events of 2nd November 1996 - the night Damien went missing on the Isle of Wight.
Alys and Bronagh track down an ex-informant from the island's drug-dealing scene, who hands over information about where Damien may be buried - but is that everything he knows?
Damien's younger brother James returns to the Isle of Wight after a 12 year absence to help with the investigation. Alys and Bronagh gather more evidence, a suspect emerges - as do conflicting accounts of events.
Damien's mother Valerie returns to the island to help with the investigation. Alys and Bronagh meet with a private investigator who worked on the case for years - who introduces them to an anonymous new witness.
Alys and Bronagh investigate the Weatherman's account and discover that the police lost vital evidence that could prove or disprove his account and also reveal Damien's final movements.
Alys and Bronagh track down a notorious drug-dealer on the island, who was apparently in a relationship with the key suspect in the case. They discover that that suspect is not the only person to have overdosed at her house.
The team meet with another friend of Damien, who was with him on the night that he disappeared. Alys and Bronagh hear about a possible witness, but need to find them first.
A cadaver dog is brought in to search for Damien's body. Alys and Bronagh are ultimately led to a drug-dealer on the island who may have information about Damien's disappearance - who makes them an offer.
