Escape from the Garden of Evil
When a experiment to create a plant that would put a end to starvation once and for all goes wrong, the scientist Audric accidentally creates mutated plants called "The Monsters Mind". Setting out to find his father, Audric's son Jayce, joined by 1000-year old wizard Gillian, Jayce's sister Flora, Oon, Audric's loyal robot and cocky hired mercenary Herc Stormsailor. Jayce begins the search for Audric and begin the battle against The Monster Minds led by Sawboss, Jayce and his companions become a team of fighters known as "The Lightnining League", and the adventure begins...

The Vase of Xiang
The root, which only responds to Audric or something belonging to him, reacts to the Planet Xiang, which leads Jayce and Herc there even though it is a planet controlled by Saw Boss. They discover a message from Audric on a vase but before they can get it, it is stolen. Jayce and Herc and Oon are drawn further into the city where Saw Boss has laid a trap for Jayce. Jayce and Oon fall into a pit which is slowly being consumed by fire; but Herc, Gillian and Flora come to the rescue. Safely aboard the Pride they decode the message which is revealed to be too old to be of much use.

Steel Against Shadow
Gillian tells the story of Valroth, a powerful weapons maker who made living armor to protect his people many years ago. But the armor became too powerful and it was all destroyed except for the helmet. Jayce seeks the helmet, finds it, and after putting it on, his power is invincible. He easily defeats some monster minds. But the helmet is wicked and it takes over Jayce's body. Jayce and the power of light conquer the evil helmet, and then they destroy it.

Silver Crusaders
Jayce and Herc land the barge on a planet with incredibly huge plants. Saw Boss is sending vines to grow there and Jayce must stop them. But Jayce, Gillian and Herc are captured by warrior crusaders Oon stumbles into the castle where they are being held and accidentally removes the shield from the stone making him the new leader. Everyone joins together to rid the planet of monster minds. The crusaders learn that not all intruders are enemies; some are friends.

Jayce is led to an abandoned ship by a signal from his father. Jayce finds his father has left a message for him but he needs more power from the Pride to receive the coordinates of his father's destination. A self-destruct mechanism is activated and Jayce must work quickly to get the message while battling monster minds. They get away with only seconds to spare.

Flora, Fauna and the Monster Minds
Monster Minds are planted aboard the Pride to contaminate the water supply. The water is jettisoned, forcing Herc to land the Pride in search of water and a Cobalt-49 crystal to repair the guidance system damaged by the vines. This is all part of Saw Boss' trap. Flora sees the vines and goes to warn Gillian who is searching for a crystal. They are trapped and Gillian falls off a bridge into a river. Saw Boss sets another trap, knowing Jayce will return for Gillian, but Jayce calls upon the ring for help and defeats the Monster Minds and rescues Gillian.

Fire and Ice

To lure Jayce to his death, Saw Boss puts a marker in the shape of the root on an ice planet that is about to be destroyed by a volcano. Herc lands the Pride on the ice which is then nearly covered by an avalanche. The native people seek help from Jayce and everyone goes to work building an ice dam and storing up snow to drop into the volcano. Monster Minds attack, complicating things, but they end up helping the people when their lasers blast the dam which prevents the volcano from erupting when all the ice covers it up.

Space Outlaws

Following Audric's signal, the Lightning League enters the Pirates Guild zone, commanded by the pirate queen, Morgana, an old love of Herc's. The Pride is boarded, robbed, and Herc and Oon are taken prisoners. Jayce, Gillian and Flora follow them concealed by an invisible bubble. Saw Boss is given Oon as his share of the loot, but he recognizes him and insists upon having Jayce. Morgana reluctantly attempts to force Herc to tell of Jayce's whereabouts, but then she changes sides and fights Saw Boss. Jayce rescues Herc and Morgana, and she gives up her pirating ways to fight Monster Minds.

Future of the Future
Gillian leads the ship and Jayce to where all time meets and one can see into the future. After passing several secret tests that show his goodness and courage, Jayce is allowed to see his future, which shows his father being destroyed in Saw Boss' headquarters. To change the future, Jayce allows himself to be taken to headquarters and then blasts Saw Boss with the ring of light, chasing Saw Boss away. By this action he knows Saw Boss will not set a trap for them in his own headquarters, thereby the future is changed.

Underwater

Audric's image is being projected from a body of water on a planet. Jayce goes down to investigate even though Monster Minds are busy draining the water off. Jayce meets the fish people, the X'Hal, and the Old One, and they communicate by telepathy that Audric teleported away from their planet. Herc dives the Pride under water and Jayce attacks the pumping station to reverse the water flow and save the X'Hal. Gillian gets to Audric's abandoned ship and retrieves the teleport coordinates to find out where he went. They are successful and the search continues.

On the ice planet, Auriga, revolutionary leader, Cyrilla, makes a deal with Saw Boss -- she delivers Jayce in return for Saw Boss deposing the gangster casino owner, Marduk, who's made slaves of everyone on the planet. Cyrilla realizes her error in trusting Saw Boss. Jayce and Gillian turn the casino heaters out onto the planet and then refreeze it, thus crippling the Monster Minds. Marduk is deposed. A rare energy form is found on the planet and Auriga becomes a mining planet rather than a casino planet.

Critical Mass

While everyone is sleeping, Herc lands on a planet in search of a buried treasure. Monster Minds force them to flee and Herc sets a new course to find Audric, to make up for lost time, that takes them through a whole galaxy controlled by Saw Boss. The vines have pulled all the planets so close together that a little more mass could form a black hole. Gillian finds a dead planet to be the critical mass, but after setting explosives, they realize someone is on the planet. They rescue an old fortune hunter and get off the planet in the nick of time, but not before realizing a fortune really was buried on the planet, not lost in the black hole.

The Purple Tome
The keepers of the great library of Hevron are under attack by Saw Boss who is after the Purple Tome, a powerful book of knowledge and spells. Jayce is reached telepathically but before he can get there Saw Boss arrives and the keepers hide the book and use magic to shrink themselves. The Lightning League arrives and they are shrunk, too. It's a race between Saw Boss and them to get to the Purple Tome, which is their only hope to be returned to normal size. Flora stayed behind and isn't shrunk and is able to help them along with Brock. Flora is strong enough to get the Tome from it's hiding place and she places Gillian and the Keepers in front of it. Herc, Jayce, Flora and Oon keep the Monster Minds busy while they concentrate and reverse the shrinking spell. Jayce uses his magic ring to rout Saw Boss.

Hook, Line and Sinker
Saw Boss blackmails King Phineas into luring Jayce with an image of his father to a planet where Saw Boss is ready to destroy him. Saw Boss makes good his threat to pull the Vortex Plug which would allow the atmosphere of the upper level to mix with the lower level forming a deadly poison. Phineas has a change of heart and leads Jayce through the radiation rapids with the help of Brock, who is the same kind of creature as Phineas. This is the only way to get to the plug in time and stop the Monster Minds. Phineas then pulls a similar trick on Saw Boss by creating an image of the root which draws the Monster Minds to it, allowing Jayce to defeat them.

Bloodstone

The Pride intercepts a message to Saw Boss declaring the Planet Kyros deadly to Monster Minds. A weapon there turns everything to crystal. Jayce leads everyone to the planet to find this weapon; but upon landing, he discovers it is a trap set by Saw Boss. The planet's bloodstone is being sucked dry of it's energy by a spider. Without the bloodstone's power the planet turns to crystal. Everyone is crystalized, except for Jayce who manages to stay one step ahead of the process. He destroys the spider and gives the bloodstone his strength to return the planet and people to normal.

The Slaves of Adelbaren
The people of Adelbaron are forced to slave in mines that produce rich nourishment for the Monster Mind vines. Saw Boss captures the young brother and sister of Kumari to force her to brig Jayce to him. Kumari is picked up in space by the Pride and she convinces Jayce to help her. Flora senses something is wrong and Kumari breaks down and tells them it is a trap. Jayce still goes to free her family and the people of Adelbaron with the help of some illusions from Gillian. Herc takes Oon apart and puts him down an airshaft to shut off the force field so the people can easily get to their weapons. They chase Saw Boss away, then Oon turns the force field back on and the Monster Minds are locked out forever.

The Hunt

Orion, a professional hunter, gets Saw Boss' permission to hunt Jayce without any interference. Orion is fascinated by Jayce's skill and wants him as a trophy prize. Orion kidnaps Jayce and puts him on a planet for the hunt to begin. He has Jayce in a trap but Saw Boss can't stay out of it and Jayce manages to escape. His compassion leads him back to rescue Orion from Saw Boss. Herc, Gillian and Flora finally find them and are able to assist. Orion changes his ways and uses his hunting skills to search out and defeat Monster Minds.

Blockade Runners
Mock training battles are interrupted by Dar, a robot sent from Baz in search of help from Monster Minds. The people of Baz are starving since they have defoliated the planet to prevent Monster Minds from growing there. Jayce and friends bring food and fight the Monster Minds. Flora's life is in danger from the defoliant so Jayce turns it off. He then makes defoliant bombs which surround the planet's atmosphere, but don't hurt the soil. All is saved and Monster Minds are forever kept from the planet.

The Sleeping Princess
In search of a message from Audric, Jayce lands on a planet protected by telepathic plants which keep the planet concealed. Saw Boss makes a deal with a wicket wizard who has put a sleeping spell on the princess who controls the plants. Jayce captures the wizard and Gillian forces him to look into a special mirror that reads people's minds. Gillian gets the spell to wake the princess. Her powers are weakened by the dying plants, but Flora helps her telepathically reach the Tree of Life, the plant source. The tree battles the Monster Minds vines along with Jayce. Saw Boss is routed once again.

Deadly Reunion

By using a lock of Audric's hair, Saw Boss creates a clone which trick Jayce into a trap. Gillian suspects the truth and convinces Jayce to leave the root behind as a precaution. Jayce is captured and a clone of Jayce is sent back for the root. Flora removes "Audric's" gift of a necklace and is once again able to sense plant life. She warns everyone that Jayce is not Jayce and the real Jayce, by using the magic ring, frees himself and arrives in time to help fight off Monster Minds and make good their escape.

Sky Kingdom

Computer calculations give Zartan Omega as the probable location of Audric. This planet is covered with blue light from the red dwarf sun and grows only giant flowers. Upon reaching it, though, they discover Monster Minds have set up a satellite to convert the blue light to red light and evil vines are everywhere slowly killing the planet. Jayce discovers Audric has been there but left at Emira's insistence since it was no longer safe. Gillian rigs up a device to emit electric waves to counter Saw Boss' signals. Oon's metal body is used as a transmitter. Gillian then moves the prism lens on Saw Boss' satellite turning it toward the sun. It overloads and explodes. Gillian leaves his invention with the people so that Saw Boss cannot use another satellite to kill the giant flowers.

Quest Into Shadow
An unconquered planet in the midst of Monster Minds intrigues the Lightning League and they go to investigate. Upon crash landing they discover the energy of the Pride and the vehicles and their own energy is being drained. It is an anti-life planet. They meet the Dark Queen who offers them the alternative of the touch of peace. Fearing this touch, they refuse it, but without it their energy will decrease until they cease to exist. Jayce finally figures out that the touch is not death but life. They are all touched and transported to another dimension. Saw Boss and evil forces cannot survive this magic of the Dark Queen; therefore, their planet remains free of Monster Minds. But the people pay a price for their freedom by having to adapt to an anti-life world.

Unexpected Trouble
The Lightning League heads for the junk planet, Xeron III, to use the metal as a giant antenna to send radio signals throughout the universe in an attempt to contact Audric. An old woman, Iana, lives on the planet with an odd assortment of creatures who have been pushed out of their natural homes by civilization. Monster Minds follow Jayce to this planet. Iana, her metal eating leppet animals, who don't bother Jayce's vehicles or Oon because of a special spray Gillian invented, and the rest of her pets help Jayce defeat the Monster Minds and Gillian discovers Audric's location.

Bounty Hunters

Saw Boss offers a huge reward to pirates and cut-throats if they will deliver Jayce to him. A pirate scratches Herc with his special ring which causes Herc to become evil and start plotting against Jayce. Jayce must take the Pride to the Planet Hippocraticus to find a rare herb to cure Herc, whom they have locked up, before he dies, even though changing their course may 'cause them to miss Audric. Saw Boss has Monster Minds vines waiting for them on the planet. Herc gets away but Gillian uses magic to get the curing potion to him. It works and Herc helps Jayce defeat the Monster Minds and they go in search of Audric once again.

Double Deception
Neetra manages to get a message out regarding her planet, Tekka. Monster Minds are about to attack to acquire their powerful fuel, miran, to power his missiles. The Vertim and Batim colonies rival each other for control of the pyramid made of miran. Saw Boss dabbles in intrigue by warning each side that the other is going to attack with the aid of mercenaries (the Lightning League). When the Pride lands on Tekka, she is under fire from all sides. Neetra, a descendant of both colonies, talks to them and convinces them it is Saw Boss' treachery at work and to let Jayce help defeat Saw Boss. The two sides reluctantly join forces and they defeat the Monster Minds. Meanwhile Gillian has been inside the pyramid reading hieroglyphics which reveal the Vertim and Batim peoples are from common ancestors. Their rivalry is over.

Gate World

Lost and dangerously low on fuel, the Lightning League searches for Gate World, a legendary gateway to any spot in the universe. Gillian adapts the scanner and the Pride lands in the center of some stonework on a beautiful planet. Unknown to them, Saw Boss is tracking them hoping to follow them into Gate World where Monster Mind vines can be spread everywhere instantly. The sun rises, shines on the stones and points the way. Monster Minds arrive and the Pride takes off, but Brock hasn't returned to the ship and Flora goes after him. The barge is caught in the gateway and Flora is left behind with Monster Minds. Jayce returns for Flora but must hurry and not be caught in the gate between realities for eternity. Jayce, Flora and Brock make it back to the Pride in the nick of time and Monster Minds are kept out of Gate World.

Space Thief

Two planets, one full of people are on a collision course. Gillian devises a potion to make the Monster Minds on the deserted planet grow very fast but only on one side. The unevenly distributed weight will 'cause the planet to split, thus avoiding a collision. Everything works fine until a playful creature, Kleptos, swipes the root. Flora uses her sensors to locate the root, which is found perilously close to Saw Boss' headquarters. Kleptos is used to deliver another potion to the base of Saw Boss' headquarters. Saw Boss takes off, Jayce retrieves the root, and the populated planet is saved.

Gillian and all the wizards of the universe gather together to combine their powers in the orb which then receives strength from the night moon. Saw Boss has captured the night moon and by infecting the two teachers of the children he hopes to capture all the wizards and use their power and the children's power for evil doing. Jayce, Herc and Flora are captured in a bubble, but Oon rescues them and Jayce risks his life by using the magic ring to rescue the orb from Saw Boss. All power is returned to the wizards and Saw Boss loses the night moon and this battle.

Affair of Honor
Jayce pleads with Herc's former intergalactic commando leader, General Zhest, to help them fight Monster Minds. The general is too afraid of Saw Boss and Jayce persuades Zhest's son to join the fight. Saw Boss poisons the water of the planet making everyone sick and weak, and he makes a deal with General Zhest: use the commandos to bring him Jayce and in return Zhest will win a battle against Monster Minds and regain the respect of his men. Zhest leads Jayce into a trap saying Audric is injured in an old fort; but Zhest saves his son's life on the way and his courage returns. He exposes Saw Boss and the Monster Minds are defeated.

Unknown to Saw Boss, Audric is captured and one of many on board a slave ship. Jayce's root responds to Audric's and a disguised Jayce boards the slave ship in search of Audric. Audric's friends mistakenly think Jayce is an enemy and by the time they figure out who Jayce is, Audric has escaped the ship. Saw Boss is heading the ship into a space warp which will separate father and son forever. Jayce supplies the power and Flora the intelligence to a new vine of Audric's that magnetizes metal. Saw Boss is forced to flee. The new vines become the guardian of the space warp keeping Saw Boss out forever.

The Stallions of Sandeen
Saw Boss invents a thermal ray which dangerously overheats the Pride's engines forcing the Lightning League to land on Sandeen in search of amethysts, a cooling gem which can protect the engines. This is Saw Boss' plan. A prisoner, Antar, escapes and tells Jayce of Ramsi's deal with Saw Boss: in exchange for Jayce, Saw Boss will spread amethyst through the desert galaxy, cool it down, and make Ramsi the new galactic emperor. The flying stallions communicate with Flora and balk at Ramsi's commands. Ramsi is captured, Saw Boss is defeated again, and Antar restores the planet to it's former peace and quiet.

Brain Trust

Saw Boss is capturing all the scientists of a Brain Trust by luring them with a false message from Audric to his radiation surrounded base. Jayce stumbles upon the plan and smuggles himself, Flora, Gillian, Oon and the vehicles onto the base to release the scientists. Gillian makes his way to the computer control room and takes control of the base. Despite the betrayal of one of the scientists, Jayce gets everyone off the planet, and Herc manages to keep the Pride together in the radiation field to pick everyone up.

Lightning Strikes Twice
With a few clues and a little conjuring, Gillian produces a map showing the destination of the original Lightning League that disappeared years ago. In a far off place untouched by Saw Boss, Jayce is disgusted to find them playing war games -- recreations of their past glorious battles. They are angry to be interrupted by Jayce's good intentions in helping them defeat their "enemies." The old League takes the Pride and imprisons Jayce and friends. Saw Boss arrives and asks for them. The Captain complies until he realizes Saw Boss is out to destroy them. Saw Boss uses an old machine of the wargames to pursue them but Gillian surrounds them in blue light which the machine cannot see. The Captain joins Jayce in fighting Saw Boss, learning new battle techniques. He promises to patrol his galaxy to keep Saw Boss away and to watch for Audric's return.

The Liberty Stone
The powerful liberty stone protects Aloar from all invaders by creating the spidereen whirlpool. Gillian brings the league to this planet to see his old magician friend Axilar and to use the stone to seek Audric's whereabouts. Upon arriving they discover it has been stolen by another powerful magician, Vantu. He offers Saw Boss Jayce if Saw Boss will let him keep the stone and uses it as he wishes with no interference. Gillian falls for Vantu's trap and is turned to stone. Gillian's magic is just as strong and he breaks out to fight Vantu's power with his own. Vantu is buried beneath tons of rock along with the liberty stone. The people of the planet learn to fight for liberty and not just to rely on a stone.

On the trail of the Liberty Stone, the Lightning League travels to a Parasite Planet where they get help from furry creatures that have built their homes on Monster Mind vines. But they also face the evil wizard Vantu again, who tells them that Flora will grow weaker as she gets closer to the stone.

Flora is still ill and very contagious. In order to cure her, the Pride has to travel to the energy rich planet Anderan. But the wizard Worp refuses to help them. Then Worp's old apprentice Vantu arrives seeking his magic orb.

Vantu is after the Heart of Paxtar and plans to use it to create a race of Super Monster Minds. Gillian transforms himself, Jayce, Flora and Herc into various other species so they can survive the planet's atmosphere.

Herc has had enough of the Lightning League and wants to dissolve their partnership. Gillian has picked up the scent of the Liberty Stone again. But a large number of Monster Minds are also on it's trail in an asteroid field. Vantu has completed his pyramid of magical treasures and offers all of it's power to Saw Boss. As it's generator gains in power, Gillian and the Lightning League are growing weaker.

What's Going On?
After intercepting a message to Saw Boss regarding the rich soil of a planet, the Lightning League lands there to warn the inhabitants. They are confronted with hundreds of toys and toy people and while Jayce, Herc and Gillian are kept busy fighting toys, Flora and Oon disappear. A boy has converted the planet into a giant playhouse and refuses to release Flora and Oon or to believe Monster Minds would destroy his work. After seeing the destruction of the vines, the boy helps defeat them with the use of his toys and learns a valuable lesson to attract friends and not force them to do his will.

Dark Singer

The Lightning League stops on a planet to warn its two occupants of Monster Minds taking over the galaxy. Selena has the rare gift of song -- she can sing anything into being, or destroy it. She and her father come to this deserted planet to escape those who would use her gift for evil. Of course, Saw Boss is hot to have her and he snatches her father to blackmail her into singing the destruction of Jayce. However, she chooses a song of destruction for she will not use her gift for evil no matter what. Saw Boss flees. She warns Jayce to go, but everyone joins hands and they all sing to help her restore the planet once again. Her father rejoins her unharmed.

Swamp Witch

To save time the Pride goes through, instead of around, the Phantom Nebula to warn the legendary Swap Witch of Saw Boss' imminent arrival. Flora feels her presence and Swamp Witch reveals herself to Flora. The witch has special communication powers with plants which Saw Boss wants to tap for his evil plans. Swamp Witch keeps the Monster Minds away but she keeps Flora, too, for company. Saw Boss uncovers the solar prism and causes the swamp to overheat lessening Swamp Witch's power. Flora acts as a go-between for the plants and the witch and Jayce turns the prism on Saw Boss. Swamp Witch leaves the planet, and says a sad farewell to Flora.

Deadly Reflections
When the planets are in line with each other in this particular galaxy it creates a temporary portal out of this universe into a universe of opposites where the evil halves of personalities live. Saw Boss tries to trick Jayce into it after Jayce sets up an impenetrable defense on the planet Eldor. They are almost lost but Herc pulls the Pride away in time, but their clash was so close that their evil opposites come over into their good universe. The evil side battles the Pride forcing it to land on a Monster Minds planet. Evil Jayce deals with Saw Boss and pretends he is the good Jayce on Eldor and proceeds to destroy their defense system. The good Jayce pulls some tricks of his own and they lure the evil ones into chasing them back to the portal of the universe. Again, the Pride pulls away in time, but the evil Pride with all aboard is trapped in their evil world once again.

Early Warning

Audric has left a hidden lab containing experiments of a vine-stopper weapon on a deserted planet. The pride hitches a ride with a monster mind transport ship to follow them to the planet. Jayce discovers the lab but activates a self-destruct mechanism. They try to leave the planet but the Pride is surrounded by Monster Minds. Jayce stops the countdown when he realizes the root is the key. The vine-stopper weapon needs a special fuel which is unobtainable. After chasing the Monster Minds away, the Pride takes off, but Jayce returns to the lab to reactivate the self-destruct mechanism so that Saw Boss cannot reprogram his father's work and use it for evil.

A Question of Conscience
Years ago Ghash was turned into a winged monster by a wizard when his greed led him to attempt to take the wizard's book of magic spells. Ghash makes a deal with Saw Boss to lure Jayce into a trap. In exchange Ghash will be made normal again. When Ghash realizes Saw Boss is going to destroy Jayce, his conscience causes him to give Jayce back his transmitter which provides communication with the vehicles and Ghash joins in the fight against Saw Boss. The wizard has watched it all and sees that Ghash has learned to be selfless and returns him to his normal form (something Saw Boss was incapable of anyway).

Jayce hears a rumor planted by Saw Boss that Audric is aboard the Edro Life ship, a ship that is capable of carrying entire civilizations to new galaxies. Jayce is able to get aboard the ship by steering the Pride through the center of the energy flow of the thruster. Saw Boss follows Jayce's path. Inside the ship Gillian and Jayce work to reprogram the massive computer which runs the ship to be able to detect Monster Minds. The minds of all the people are stored in the computer waiting to be put into newly manufactured bodies. Gillian changes the programming while the rest of the League fights off the Monster Minds. The Mirage Makers
The Lightning League lands on a desert planet with no plant life, assuming that is where Audric would be. They are mistakenly led by a mirage of Audric to try and rescue him but they are attacked by the native nomads who have been tricked by Saw Boss into believing Jayce is bringing a deadly plant to destroy them. Gillian devises special glasses to reveal the mirages from the real thing. Brock and Oon fall into big holes and discover an underworld with Monster Minds. The nomads and the Lightning League join forces to rout the Monster Minds.

Do Not Disturb

While teaching the cat people of a planet war strategies, Oon wanders from lecture to lecture feeling unneeded and worthless. Gillian discovers the planet houses a Nightwalker, which is kept behind enormous tall doors sealed with a gold symbol -- a design that even it cannot cross. Oon accidentally knocks it off releasing the Nightwalker whose only purpose is the destruction of every living thing. He first destroys the Monster Minds as he had to promise Oon, but then he's after Jayce. Flora and Gillian go in search of the symbol while Jayce and Herc try to keep the Nightwalker away from the city. The symbol is given back to Oon who propels himself to the back of the Nightwalker joining Jayce who has found the place where the symbol fits to shut him down. Oon's self esteem is restored when he is asked to teach a class.

Dream World

Unknown to Herc, he falls into a trap set by Saw Boss when he wins a bet and the map to Dream World. Helicia, keeper of Dream World, must accept them or face destruction from Saw Boss. Everything goes beautifully. Gillian and Flora return to the garden, Herc is wealthy beyond imagination and Jayce meets up with Audric. Upon combining the root, though, his dream turns into a nightmare when the rot is destroyed by Saw Boss and the vehicles are rendered useless. When all seems lost, Jayce calls upon the magic ring and the tables are turned. Saw Boss sees his greatest nightmare -- Jayce's victory -- and flees Dream World never to return. But everything was a dream and the root is safe.

The Children of Solarus II
The root is starting to wither and the only cure for it is a dose of the ion winds on Solarus II, a planet controlled by Saw Boss. He destroyed the Solarian people and now uses the healing powers of the winds for his vines. Jayce goes to the planet and is pulled into a mountain by a tractor beam and finds after a few tests of his worthiness that he must be the one to lead the children of Solarus II to safety. Jayce gets the children aboard the Pride and returns to expose the root to the winds. He un-harnesses the winds which destroys the vines, the root thrives once more, and the children look to the future when they may return to their home planet and use their elders knowledge to re-harness the winds.

The Gardener

While stopping on a dead planet looking for Audric, the Lightning League crosses path with one of the Vizani, a gardener named Faro who with a few seeds and his own power brings life to the planet. Saw Boss witnesses this transformation via transmitter and sets out to capture Faro to make super strength vines. Faro's bird Queedo calls for help and the Lightning League answers. They free Faro and return him to his ship where he is able to destroy all plants with the throw of a switch which will also destroy Flora. Jayce is on the verge of destruction by the super vines, but Faro cannot pull the switch to save him and destroy Flora, so Flora pulls it. Flora is on the verge of death, but Faro is able to work another miracle and she is saved.
