Yu becomes interested in school idols after watching a performance of Setsuna Yuki and wants to join a School Idol Club with her childhood friend Ayumu.

Kasumi refuses to accept the fact that the School Idol Club has been disbanded and decides to take matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Karin tries to track down the elusive Setsuna Yuki.

The former members of the School Idol Club confront the student council president about her true identity. Meanwhile, Yu gushes about Setsuna Yuki to Nana, and Nana sheds some light on why Setsuna might've quit being a school idol.

Ai and Rina join the School Idol Club. The members are impressed with how much Ai seems to be helping them out and then Ai makes some unexpected discoveries on her own.

Seeing the success of Ayumu's self-introduction in collecting views, everyone decides to create their PVs as solo idols to introduce themselves. Having been assisted to wear costumes as part of her PV, Emma tries to convince Karin to join the School Idol Club. However, Karin dismisses the idea and tells Emma not to invite her to the School Idol Club again.

Rina has always had a hard time communicating with others, but after joining the School Idol Club, she makes the decision to try to change once and for all by putting on a solo performance.

Kanata's little sister, Haruka, is a school idol at Shinonome Academy and comes to visit Kanata at her club one day. The sisters are very close, but Haruka is worried that Kanata is pushing herself too hard and makes a drastic decision.

Shizuku lands the leading role in an upcoming play for a joint drama festival Nijigasaki and another school are having. However, she loses the role when the Drama Club president tells her that she's unable to truly put herself out there.

The Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is invited to perform as school idols at Diver Fest. But there's just one catch... Each school participating will only be able to perform one song.

With the first school term now over, the School Idol Club prepares for a summer training camp at the school.

Kasumi and Yu present a proposal for the school idol festival to the student council, but there are still some issues with it before it can be approved. The club bands together to fix what they need, starting with deciding on a venue. They also propose the festival to Haruka and Christina from Shinonome Institute, and Himeno and Misaki from Tooh Academy who all agree to participate. Meanwhile, Yu continues to work with Setsuna to work out the details for the proposal, something which Ayumu continues to take notice of. Ayumu later hears from Setsuna that Yu has gotten better playing the piano. Yu later invites Ayumu to her room, and tries to tell her about her plans for the future, but Ayumu worries about Yu becoming more distant from her.

Preparations continue for the school idol festival, but Yu remains preoccupied with what Ayumu told her the previous night. The girls start having individual brainstorming meetings with their supporters at school to work out the details for each of their performances and venues. Yu again tries to tell Ayumu that she has found something she wants to do, but Ayumu gets distraught over the thought of Yu spending less time with her as a result.

The school idol festival begins with each of the girls performing at their stages.
