A group of budding French Resistance fighters are trying to free Lieutenant Henry from the tree he's entangled in, after the plane he was flying from London has crashed in the area. But a German patrol in their vicinity might make things a bit more complicated for them.

The "résistants", now led by Lieutenant Henry, are eager to discover their brand new FFI ("French Forces of the Interior") armbands, freshly sewn by Lucien's wife, Monique. However, a misspelling on each and every armband forces the group to devise their future strategy.

Eugène and Lucien are preparing to steal - yet again - four chickens from the Croutons' farm so as to feed their comrades in arms. But Eugène, overcome with shame, would rather cut a deal with the local farmer. The question is will the young man actually get what he wants to bargain for?

While Noël, Marcel, and Léonoff are desperately (and quite inefficiently) trying to make money for the group, the car of collaborationist mayor Jean-René Le Maréchal and his wife approaches. Marcel immediately sees an opportunity to rethink their methods and make the day more profitable. What's another pickle anyway?

Lieutenant Henry sets out to teach the FIFIs some valuable close combat techniques, only to find out the fiercest, most gifted and most impressive fighter among them might not necessarily be the one he'd have initially imagined. Get ready for a knockout episode.

Now facing capital punishment because of their growing fame, Marcel and Noël meet up with the Duke and Georgette at the local church in order to retrieve fake IDs forged by Father Tarain. Only the appointment takes place at the exact same time Franz, Julian, and ranking officer Klaus show up for their weekly confession. Oh, and there's a slight problem with the counterfeit papers too.

Eugène tries to persuade his fellow Resistance fighters to play riddles with him in the hope that he'll quickly earn some cash out of the whole process. But the more he has to deal with each of them - and their typical personality traits - the more he realizes that making easy money is not always that easy. Especially when "it's war".

On one bank of a river, Marcel, Léonoff and Lieutenant Henry get ready to sabotage a gigantic Bourg-en-Mesnil bridge when, on the opposite bank, a rival group of "Francs-Tireurs" show up, claiming the bridge is theirs to blow up since - in their opinion - it actually belongs to the neighboring town of Chauffour-en-Bray. Maybe it will be up to Müller and Julian to put an end to their bickering and make everyone see eye to eye on this matter.

Georgette and Jacqueline seduce Eugène into playing some paying sexy game called "Panties or No Panties". However, the young man - being his usual self - is broke and decides to incorporate Noël in the game. One thing is for sure here: someone's about to get caught with their pants down. Someone or "someones".

The Duke, Georgette, and Marcel are on a mission to exfiltrate RAF officer Harry Halfpenny out of Normandy. At some point, the pilot is faced with two options: he can either try to find his way out of a mine-ridden forest or pretend to be a German soldier and pass a roadblock guarded by Julian and Müller, a task made difficult by Harry's very limited German skills. So, will this operation go with a bang? Or with a "boom" maybe? "Ja, ja", it's possible around these parts.

After being wrongfully accused of painting an anti-German graffiti - which his daughter Jeanne was actually responsible for - Mayor Le Maréchal and his offspring are brought to the Kommandantur. There, they meet Oscar, the mayor's son and his sister's polar opposite, since he's a pro-German militiaman, which participates in fueling a long-lasting feud between the two siblings. The mayor seizes this opportunity to ask Oscar to tamper with the official German report that describes him as a terrorist, for the sake of their family, which Oscar reluctantly agrees to do when he realizes his position as Colonel von der Beck's pet might soon be compromised. But Jeanne refuses to just sit and wait for her doom to be sealed. Maybe Marcel - who, at the same moment, happens to be posing as a Kommandantur soldier in order to lay his hands on a map describing the building of the Atlantic Wall, while Léonoff and Noël are waiting for him outside - will be able to help her? As for Oscar, if he does want to recover the incriminating report, he's gonna have to barge in on the birthday party of Angela, Von der Beck's daughter, who's celebrating with Klaus and Müller before her father returns from a firing squad session. Phew, it's getting crowded in here, right?

After a hazardous mission to send a coded message from the local train station, the FIFIs get together at some secret rendez-vous spot for a debrief only to realize Eugène is now missing. Each and every one of them is going to have to tell their side of the story in order to determine the young man's whereabouts: railroaders on strike, magic tricks, an iron cross and a lot of Schnaps are on the menu of this epic season finale.

Harry reports to his commanding officers at the British SOE Headquarters about his Norman adventures and the discoveries he made. This is going to generate a bold idea for a special operation which might change the course of events in Normandy.
