Twenty years of jungle camp - that's cause for a celebration. In the very special new season, twelve well-known celebrities dare the adventure anew and compete in the "Showdown of Jungle Legends" in South Africa.
Day two and already there is great turmoil in the camp of legends. Conflicts concerning the position of the team captain and complaints about trials and insomnia lead to emotional outbursts. The first nomination serves for extra thrills.
It is getting wild at the jungle camp: The celebrities start to smuggle and breach several rules. Danni and Georgina dare the first jungle trial "Compost Station". When Elena Miras moves in, a cat fight starts at the camp.
On day 4 of the jungle camp, Elena and Thorsten talk about their personal problems. Then, an arguments between Danni and Giulia arises which is spiced up by Kader. Meanwhile, Gigi goes on a shopping spree.
There's discord at the jungle camp and two rival groups arise. Elena has to overcome her fear of heights and Thorsten battles with snakes while Georgina and Sarah have to fight with emotional problems.
During the sixth day of the jungle camp, the participants talk about their personal challenges while some campers breach the rules during meal time. Mola and Giulia battle for stars during the trial "Funny River".
Kader implores the celebrities to economize the toilet paper. Giulia counters with an intimate questions and upsets the camp. Hanka and Elena also get into an argument. The bad mood leads to the walkout of another celebrity.
Eric battles with anxiety since a few days. Sarah has great reproaches against herself and Eric and Gigi complete a trial. Also: One of the legends leaves the camp.
Kader and Danni share the emotional stories about the deaths of respective family members while Gigi struggles with his new role as team captain. Sarah and Elena return from the jungle trial without any stars.
Giulia offers massages to become more popular among the other campers. Thorsten and Georgina do a treasure hunt to get the chest back into the camp. During the trial "The Tribunal" the legends have to eat disgusting penalty meals.
The campers decide at the fire site which celebrity has to leave the camp of legends. Then, Kader, Sarah and Georgina tackle the trial "Babblabyrinth of Terror". But terror doesn't end after the trial.
The scandal from after the trial is hotly debated in the camp. Georgina dropping the F-bomb upsets the group and raises the question: Women against men? Elena's motivation dwindles away and Thorsten is shocked during the trial.
Single mothers Elena and Georgina get emotional while Mola has a somewhat special opinion about emancipation. Then everybody has to hold their breaths in the jungle trial "Sorely Pool" before one of the legends has to leave the camp.
Once again, there's turmoil in the jungle camp when Mola boasts about his projects. Elena and Danni bitch about their rival Eric. Kader does clairvoyance and another legend has to pack the bags. A battle against claustrophobia begins.
During a treasure hunt, Gigi and Sarah clash with each other when Sarah does not want to get her hair dirty. She later caters for incomprehension at the camp with her attitude.
