Conan and the Junior Detective League were playing kick the can near a theater hall. Conan found Ran and Sonoke walking along with the crowd of people. Conan asked what was being held at the theater. They explain to him that a concert is being held there. Takayama Minami & Nagano Shiina also known as TWO-MIX are going to be performing there. Ran and Sonoke hope to see them before the concert begins. After they left Conan with the Genta, Ayumi, & Mitsuhiko. The 4 kids bumped into a woman, who they recognized as Takayama Minami. Minami didn't want to draw attention which is why she's wearing a hat, sunglasses, & sports jacket. She treated them to lunch before they broke her cover. For a bonus she let them listen to a Demo tape that TWO-MIX hasn't released yet. Minami received a call from Shiina who was in the car parked outside. Telling her to come meet him. When Minami went near the car, she discovered that Shiina was knocked out cold in the back seat. And they was forced inside the car by a tall guy. The car drove away as soon as the kidnapping took place. Conan and his friends went back to the theater hall to tell the manager what had happen. Which was the same time the police & Inspector Megure came after the manager got a threat call from the kidnappers that they have TWO-MIX. Another phone call came, this time the kidnappers instructed them on what their motives are. It isn't money they want, it's the demo tape, which is still in the possession of Conan and the Junior Detective League. The kidnappers made a deal for them to drop off the demo tape at a designated place or TWO-MIX will face certain doom. Inspector Megure finds it all to be a risk. But Conan and the Junior Detective League is up to the negotiation. With the police close to their side. Conan hopes to save TWO-MIX before their concert start. What do the kidnappers want with the demo tape?
