It's another idyllic day in the countryside, but things are anything but ordinary when Renge meets Akane, a flute player who has trouble playing in front of other people.

While delivering tomatoes for "Summer Christmas", Renge finds a little girl who's lost. She helps her to return to her father (a policeman) and the two become friends and play police.
Renge and her friends go camping. Natsume and Ren try to catch bugs, but only end up catching a blitzed Kazuho. Later, Natsume and Hika boycott doing their homework, only to regret their decision and to boycott the boycott.
