Angelo is the only kid at school who doesn't have a phone. He bribes his parents to give him one, but they said they'd only do it if Elena spends less time on hers.
Angelo finds out that Joe Mama the cat has been stealing items from random people and storing them under Angelo's bed. Therefore, he and his friends must return the items to where they came from.
For a school project, Angelo and his friends have to shoot a TV pilot called Angelo Rules, with Sherwood directing, Lola producing, Angelo writing and Butterfingers playing Angelo. But it doesn't turn out how they expect it to.
Angelo's dad buys a virtual assistant, Electra, and quickly becomes hooked. Angelo and Elena have to do something about it, and decide to have a little fun with Electra.
When Angelo, Sherwood and Lola accidentally vandalize the sets for Damien Burst's new play at school, they are forced to take part as punishment whether they like it or not. So Angelo does his best to somehow "spice up" Burst's play.
When Angelo and his friends accidentally break a window, their punishment is to complete a series of chores at the rec centre. So they decide to do it video game style.
