The husband is sure that she has a younger lover, whom the investigators find very soon, but he also knows nothing about here whereabouts. The police do not even think that this is a criminal case until traces of blood are found in different places in the apartment.

A lonely, elderly woman was severely assaulted in her villa in Buda. Only the maid was with her that evening, and she was obviously lying. Nevertheless she is not the main suspect, but the previous maid. Meanwhile the old lady dies from her injuries, so now the case is murder. Captain Gál finds the previous maid and tries to track down her violent fiancé, who may be involved in the crime.
