Episode 1 of the F Word and it's national vegan week so Gordon marks the occasion with a very special and very Ramsay dish. Gordon's children realise that a turkey is just for Christmas not for life when they buy live turkeys to rear and slaughter for Christmas dinner. Star of stage and screen Martine McCutcheon learns how to sharpen a knife and Gordon learns to "keep it simple, stupid" when he challenges comedian Al Murray to make the best bread and butter pudding.

In tonight's second show, superstar Joan Collins visits The F Word restaurant. It's the first time the two have met since Joan was famously thrown out of Gordon's first restaurant Aubergine seven years ago.Gordon's mum Helen challenges her son with her favourite recipe for apple pudding. And there's trouble among the turkeys in Gordon's garden. Gary's as sick as a parrot, so Gordon calls in expert advice.

Can food affect a man's fertility? Currently there's speculation about a generaldecline in the sperm count and whether it can be linked to diet. Gordon blames his own low sperm count on the fact that chefs are constantly exposed to high levels of heat during long hours in a kitchen environment. He enlists the help of a fertility expert and a clinical embryologist to see whether they support his theory and to advise on how men can help prevent problems with their sperm.Plus top model Penny Lancaster comes for dinner and tells Gordon about her very fertile relationship with Rod Stewart; their baby is due in less than three weeks. 'We did actually freeze his sperm in case there were going to be any problems' she reveals. 'We were at home, you know, intimately. And then I rushed down in the Ferrari with my handbag and the little vial next to it.'

Chat show maestro Jonathon Ross is put to the test by Gordon Ramsay in his F Word kitchen this week when he's challenged to kill and cook lobster. 'It's alive, I'm not eating that!' he says before he realises that Gordon is deadly serious and he has to dispatch several live lobsters and throw them into the pot to cook, 'If Paul McCartney is watching this, I apologise' 'If you've got the bollocks to eat it, you should have the bollocks to kill it' responds Gordon.The show also features Gary Rhodes, an amazing report about the potential benefits of horse milk and an exclusive report on which is Britain's healthiest supermarket.

England Coach Sven Goran Erikson's partner Nancy Dell-Olio gives Gordon some tips on how to score this week when she visits The F Word restaurant this week. "The sexiest room in the house? It's the kitchen because the other places are too easy!'"Nancy tells Gordon she cooks for and with Sven regularly, "I do the cooking, he helps me. We work together, we're a team.'The programme also includes appearances from actor Richard Wilson - best knows for his performance as Victor Meldrew - and Kim & Aggie from "How Clean Is Your House" who take Gordon on with their trifle recipe, while resident food critic Giles Coren looks into the world of detox.

Presenter and property expert Sarah Beeny takes on Gordon with her recipe for chocolate brownie and Big Brother's Davina McCall talks sex and soup after sampling Gordon's rich sumptuous haricot bean soup with tiger prawns.Also in tonight's show Gordon challenges his team of three commis chefs to make a delicious vegetarian dish in half an hour; and the turkeys get a weigh-in to see if they're fat enough for Christmas dinner

It's the second to last show in the first series, and tonight Gordon joins Martine McCutcheon in her kitchen to help her prepare the perfect roast beef and Yorkshire pudding to impress her friends; while Janet Street Porter is in the restaurant kitchen attempting to beat Gordon with her favourite fig pudding. Meanwhile, Christmas is coming and so is the end to the turkey's short but happy time in Gordon's garden. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall pops round to give advice on the best way to slaughter the turkeys. Will Gordon be able to handle it and how will his kids say goodbye to Ainsley, Gary, Antony, Jamie, Nigella and Delia - the turkeys they've become so attached to?

The programme also includes the perfect recipe for cooking turkey and Gordon going head to head with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall in a recipe challenge. Who will win - Gordon with a rich chocolate tart, or Hugh with chocolate truffle cake? It's up to Sharon Osbourne to decide which dish has the F factor. And it's the final showdown for Gordon's commis chefs - who will win a job with him? And who will end up stuffed like the turkeys?
