When his girlfriend reports him to the police, they begin an investigation that eventually lands the doctor in jail. Interviewed in prison, Konrath tries to explain his situation.

20/20 goes to Lubbock, Texas, to investigate the July 2012 murder of pathologist Joseph Sonnier. Police uncover a love triangle and arrest plastic surgeon Thomas Michael Dixon. Prosecutors argue that Dixon hired his friend Dave Shepard to kill Sonnier in order to punish or get back at an ex-girlfriend Sonnier was dating. Shepard accepted a plea deal and testified against Dixon who was convicted of murder.

20/20 goes to, Lansing, Michigan to investigate the scandal surrounding Conservative Tea Party Representatives Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat who were caught having an affair. Courser attempts to bury the scandal by encouraging an aid to publicly email a false set of lurid allegations against him. The aid refuses to assist in the cover-up and, after being dismissed by Courser, goes public revealing the attempted cover-up and the affair. Courser and Gamrat are forced to resign.
