One of the most renowned distance races in the Mediterranean, the Giraglia Rolex Cup is an offshore classic, and celebrates its 60th Anniversary in 2013. From the race start off the historic port of Saint-Tropez the fleet heads through the idyllic Iles d'Hyeres and across open sea to round the Giraglia, a rocky islet off northern Corsica, before racing to the finish in Genoa, a total distance of 242 nautical miles.

The biennial Rolex Fastnet Race has been an established fixture on the ocean racing circuit since 1925. The 608-nautical mile race is a test of strategy and skill with challenging tidal currents and changeable weather. The fleet starts off the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes, races out of the Solent and across the tempestuous Celtic Sea to the Fastnet Rock, before returning to the finish in Plymouth.
