Created to foster relations between the Italian and French sailing communities following World War II, the Rolex Giraglia has developed into a historic and revered event in the Mediterranean yachting calendar. A world class fleet will gather in the chic harbor of Saint-Tropez for three days of inshore competition before embarking on an offshore race of just over 200 nautical miles, via the Giraglia, a rocky outcrop off the northern tip of Corsica, to the finish port of Genoa. Throughout its history the event has been defined by its camaraderie and team spirit.

The Rolex TP52 World Championship returns to the Cascais, Portugal for the first time since 2018. First held in 1980, the 32nd edition of this event, is guaranteed to provide exceptional, elite level competition and unparalleled glamour. The following week, the Swan fleet gathers to give the predominantly amateur crews and their guests a week of thrilling activity on water and on land. Swans from around the world are categorized by age, performance, and size for six days of relentless competition in one of the most alluring locations on the planet.

This celebrated offshore classic commences and concludes in Malta's historic capital Valetta but not before taking in the Italian islands of Sicily, Stromboli, Pantelleria and Lampedusa. This year's edition, the 43rd in the illustrious history of the Mediterranean's most demanding 600 mile offshore race, will be remembered for light winds, dogged determination and remarkable imagery from the racecourse. The 2022 race witnessed an intense battle between a world class Maxi yacht entry as well as sterling performances from the amateur crews that embody the ethos of this race.

The Boxing Day start in Sydney Harbour, has evolved into a glorious spectacle watched by huge, enthralled crowds. With over 600 nautical miles of precarious ocean ahead before the boats reach Hobart, Tasmania, this is arguably sailing's greatest examination of skill and character. This edition of The Spirit of Yachting will tell the story of the race through three different sets of competitors; the battle for Line Honours with Christian Beck and his yacht Law Connect, for Overall Victory with Tom Kneen and Sunrise, and the amateur entry Antipodes and Australian owner Geoff Hill.
