Whoever prevails over the ten races will claim one of the most coveted titles in world sailing.

The 68th edition of this classic offshore race sees the international fleet break with tradition by setting sail from Sanremo, Italy's 'City of Flowers' before heading to the titular Giraglia rock off the northern tip of Corsica. The 243 nautical mile route ends in the historic port of Genoa - a suitable finish for one of the jewels of the Mediterranean sailing calendar.

The Rolex Fastnet Race takes place once every two years and is arguably the most famous offshore yachting event in the sailing calendar. On the 8th of August over 330 yachts are expected to take to the line in Cowes before passing the traditional landmarks the Needles, Portland Bill, Lands' End and the Scillies and the iconic rounding point of the Fastnet Rock off the southern coast of Ireland. For the 49th edition of the race there is an historic change of race course as, for the first time ever, the finish will be in France, in Cherbourg. This 695 nautical mile classic is an immense challenge for amateur and professional sailors alike, requiring flawless preparation, teamwork and the ability to demonstrate unrelenting physical and mental endurance.
